Soccer
For the 2010 World Cup, a stadium was built in my township. It was originally used as a practice field for some of the teams, and even hosted an international exhibition game in the weeks leading up to the World Cup. It’s a pretty nice stadium:
It gets used fairly regularly by some local minor-league soccer teams, but is used mainly for community events. My school was part of a small soccer tournament there:
The stands, which do an amazing job of amplifying the noise:
Sadly, we didn’t win. Still, the team looks pretty awesome:
